   Barely OK 2.0

   This movie had a good premiss and some great acting by Shia LaBeouf (which isn’t a surprise). The set up is short enough yet effective enough, to maybe not make us care completely for the main character, but at least understand him. The movies downfall comes from the fact that the filmmakers can’t seem to decide if they want to make a pure thriller, or a teen flick. As the viewer, one could honestly care less if Shia ends up with the sexy neighbor and a lovers spat that takes up a good 20min in the middle of the movie was completely unnecessary. This movie has enough twists an thrills to keep one entertained, but a movie such as Rear Window did it right the first time.

   Very Good 3.5

   Shia LaBeouf Was great as the protagonist and David Morse is always good as his classic antagonist. The other actors aren’t unwatchable, but are also nothing to write home about.

    The production quality is high on this film and the director uses perfectly timed entrances and camera moves to make the viewers heart jump more than once.
