Great 4.0
Great acting, and a suspenseful story make Vertigo a great thriller that still holds its charm today.
Scottie (James Stewart) is a retired police detective suffering from a fear of heights, who is asked to investigate Madeleine (Kim Novak), a mysterious and beautiful wayward wife. The two become entwined in an elaborate story that features twists and turns that keep you on edge to the end.

Male Stars Really Great 4.5
James Stewart is in fine form as the inquisitive, yet vulnerable detective, searching for answers. A typical toure-de-force form the legendary actor. Hitchcock’s daughter said in the bonus materials that Stewart represents every man, and that audiences can relate to him. I agree.
