Great 4.0
A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 3 is by far the best in the series. It’s the one with the most loveable characters, best effects, and most engaging dialogue. Somehow, when the whole story is in this kid’s mental hospital, the characters were made loveable. Regardless of the amateur acting, I cared for what would happen to the characters as the story progressed. So there’s a plus. Also, you can tell in this one that they had a lot of fun with the special effects, since, unlike horror movies today, they actually DID the effect rather than just adding it in later in CGI. Finally, the dialogue was great. The whole time, I was attentive to what everyone had to say, and none of what they said was stupid (ok maybe some parts).

Good 3.0
As I said, nothing great, but enough to let the characters develop.

Good 3.0
The effects in this movie are what make it a classic. The music was, once again, the same as the other two films, and the direction was pretty good.
