Great 4.0
The Strangers was a super scary suspense ride. Never have I seen a movie that has kept me so built up, and ready for something to happen. When something did happen, I pretty much jumped up and ran to the other side of my room. It had a pretty slow start (good, though) and stayed slow throughout. I did like the pacing since it never got boring. All this lead up to a shocking ending that will shock and disturb you, probably forcing you to never go to sleep again. Let’s just say, if suspense really could kill you…. I’d be dead by now…. twice.

Perfect 5.0
The overall acting was surprisingly good, regardless of the lack of dialogue.

Perfect 5.0
While I hate most films that take place only in darkness, The Strangers pulled it off. The atmosphere is scary as hell, and the music was well fitted. Just remember- lock your doors.

Risqué 2.2
The violence itself is not that much, but the theme is very dark and disturbing. (which if you don’t know, is 3 masked people terrorizing a couple) Basically, there are stabbings and shootings, but the intent of those stabbings is very twisted.
