Not very creative, but this is made up for by the terrific film quality.
-
Great 4.0
Jamie Lee Curtis is the Queen of Screams in John Carpenter’s masterpiece. This is really what fear looks like.

Male Costars Great 4.0
Donald Pleasence takes the role of Dr. Sam Loomis, The Shape’s psychiatrist. A very convincing performance.
-
Great 4.0
An all around terrific film. The lighting, the theme song, the direction, and the acting. If there is a slasher I would say is the best ever, it would be Halloween. Nick Castle, who plays The Shape, is a believable villain, for every movement he makes is convincing.

Direction Really Great 4.5

Play Good 3.0
-
Music Perfect 5.0
I love the theme song so much.
-
Visuals Great 4.0
- Content
-
Sordid 2.8
Not bad in terms of gore, but every stab and every slash, is hard to watch. Several sex scenes with some nudity show up.
-
Sex Titillating 2.5
-
Violence Brutal 3.5
-
Rudeness Salty 2.5
-
Surreal 2.8
While believable, the story’s situations are not very true to life.

Circumstantial Surreal 3.0
-
Biological Glib 2.0
-
Physical Supernatural 3.5
