Amazingly, this is the first Rocky I’ve ever sat through, even though R1 came out when I was in high school. This is certainly a grand valedictory for Sly’s seminal character.

An overly formulaic yarn about the girl who won’t be let in to the all-boy soccer scene during the 70’s. To me, the best thing about this movie was the 70’s rock sound bites. The actors are not very memorable, but the flick will be enjoyed by tweener kids.
