I remember seeing this as a young child and being awed by the special effects. A bit older, a bit more jaded — the story is still a great one and only requires a bit of imagination to enjoy it. |

One of my favorite SciFi epics. Be sure to watch the “Directors Edition” as it is the movie as David Lynch wanted it. Time surely favors his editing touch over the studios that in a controversial move at the time wrested the final editing from him. |
