[Rec]
Perfect 7 Points 2007

[REC] is hands down the most disturbing horror movie I’ve ever seen. Combining a realistic, ‘Blair Witch’-style basis with a distinctly fantastical idea, the film never lets up, and come the end (less than ninety minutes), you’d be well-placed to not be quivering in your chair.

Toy Story
Perfect 2 Points 1995

Toy story is a film that anyone who has had a childhood, should love. We all had the idea of our Toys coming to life when we are not around. The film perfects every premise of a cgi film, it has Everything, alot of comedy, emotional scenes, Characters you actually care for and even intense action…

Who Framed Roge...
Perfect 66 Points 1988

Who Framed Roger Rabbit harked back to a bygone era, even as it kicked-off today’s advanced one. It resuscitated hand-drawn cartoons, yet was the first to mix animation with live action, presaging the half-human, half-fake movies common ever since. Ironic, no. Oh yeah, Roger Rabbit is also dr…

Toy Story 2
Perfect 2 Points 1999

Toy Story 2 is Perfect, but in my opinion, it is not as enjoyable as the first movie for nostalgic reasons, Toy story 2 gets everything right, Hillarious, Moving and A great sequel.

Animal House
Perfect 66 Points 1978

Animal House is many things: riotously funny movie, cultural touchstone, seminal hard-R teen comedy. Those make it a font of archetypes and catchphrases, including Bluto (“Seven years of college down the drain.”), Neidermeyer (“A Pledge Pin!”), Dean Wormer (“DOUBLE SECRET PROBATION!”), Flounde…

Singin' in the ...
Perfect 71 Points 1952

Hollywood perfection, thy name is Singin’ in the Rain.

Forget the singing, forget the dancing, see it for the sparkling comedy. It’s simply studded with LOLs.

Though many of us have seen outtakes, especially Gene Kelly’s Singing’ in the Rain number, every movie fan should see the entir…

American Beauty
Perfect 9 Points 1999

Well deserving of it’s countless amounts of praise and the best picture Oscar that came with it, American Beauty is, in my opinion, one of the definitive films of the 1990’s and a perfect, if not terrifyingly authentic, portrayal of American suburbia.

Kevin Spacey stars as Lester Burnham. Les…

Schindler's List
Perfect 21 Points 1993

Spielberg’s incredibly impactful and cinematic re-telling of arguably the darkest period in human history won’t soon be forgotten. If you weren’t already shocked by the history of Nazism, this movie will bring it home to you with images from the Warsaw Ghetto, Auschwitz, survival and crazed blind…

The Sting
Perfect 66 Points 1973

Perfection: The opening music sets a movielover’s heart aflutter and The Sting just gets better from there. A Scott Joplin rag – brilliantly slowed down by Marvin Hamlisch – leads to Robert Redford and Paul Newman, reunited a mere four years after they first got together in "Butch Cassidy and t…

Sunset Blvd.
Perfect 66 Points 1950

Hollywood’s greatest confection is and has always been Hollywood, a reality that the fabulous imagery of Sunset Blvd. celebrates better than any movie before or since. Oh yeah, it’s also a hell of a lot of fun, a black & white cauldron of irony, ambition and beauty, full of devilish turns and …
