   Perfect 5.0

   Amazing movie, controversially lost the Best Picture Oscar to ‘Crash’ (another fine movie.) The torrid love story of two cowboys, we follow Ennis and Jack down a path of love, apprehension, confusion, and passionate anger. You will not find a happy ending here, I highly recommend you bring tissues. I defy you not to tear up at the end of this movie.

5. Male Stars Perfect 5.0

   Superb. Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal give flawless performances and convey every emotion to perfection.

   Michelle Williams gives us a stunning performance, and performs possibly one of the most heartbreaking scene’s of recent memory (you will know it when you see it.)

    One character picks up a prostitue (though they just walk off, nothing is shown)
    Topless women, non-explicit sex (both heterosexual and homosexual) they seem to keep most of their clothes on during these scenes.
    Topless men, one of the male characters is fully naked and shown from behind (though he is only cleaning up)

    They’re cowboys in the sixties, the language is rather crude. Some allusions to sex, one short scene of very crude talk about women, and frequent swearing.

    Very natural. If they’d have said it was based on a true story I wouldn’t have thought twice. (Though it is based on a short work of fiction.)
