Horror or comedy it depends on perspective, I suppose. In the end I went for what I believe was the creators original intention though admitedly I got WAY more laughs out of this film than scares.

This movie is amongst the contenders for “BEST worst movie ever made”, and for good reason. Lets start with some truely sub-standard acting. I been to pantos with more depth to the characters expressions. Couple this with one of the weakest scripts ever penned and a plot that defies description, never-mind belief.

But for all its short comings this movie excells, yes indeed excells, for it has found a warm and treasure place in the cult classics and the hearts of thier fans. This film, like such others as “Plan 9 from other space” and “The Room”, have consistenly played in midnight screenings at select cinemas for years.

All I can really say is you must enter this movie expecting the very worst, once you know that this halirously poor movie is sure to entertain you for all of its 95 minutes of running time. A great flick to enjoy with friends (as long as they know what they are getting themselves in for!).

Taken seriously this movie would struggle to hit 1/5 stars. So sit back and relax with the this almost self spoofing movie.

    Essential “plot”: (Contains spoilers)
A supposedly “normal” family is taking a vacation to a remote town in the middle no-where called NILBOG, which is, amazingly enough, GOBLIN spelt backwards (what could possibly go wrong….). Its not long before we discover these goblins (odd considering the films title) are vegetarian and cannot simply consume these victims but must first secretly transform them in to plants first.
Only one supposedly attentive 10 year old seems to notice all this going on and with a little help from his dead grandfather, who has some strange and oddly limited powers of time control?, can save the day.

If this movies plot were an house hold object it would almost certainly be a sieve, for all the holes it contains.

Regarding JK’s reviews’s Review
Sounds like an Ed Wood movie.
