   WOW!! Could this be any more overrated? Do you have any clue as to how many people have said “OMG DUDE!! You have to check this movie out!! This is the new Cheech and Chong!!” or “DUDE!! This is the funniest movie ever!!” Well, to those high school Apatow fans who like this movie, I respect your opinion, but I also have to say NO!!! THIS IS SH*T!!! THIS IS NOT FUNNY!! THIS IS CRAP!!! This movie tried to mix subtle and over the top humor and FAILED!! MI-SER-A-BLY!!!! It’s boring and stupid, it’s such a piece of garbage.

   Don’t get me wrong, the performances are good and I did chuckle at one or two moments in the movie. But the whole thing was just painful to sit through. The comedy was uneven and it failed in so many places. I can’t begin to describe how overrated this movie is. Its a waste of time, just skip it.

4. Acting

   Good 3.0

   Ok, I will say, the performances were pretty strong. James Franco did make me laugh as the stoner Saul and I think he should definitely do more roles like this. On top of that, I’m a huge Seth Rogen fan. And he was pretty funny, I will admit. And Danny McBride offered excellent support as Franco’s dealer friend. So, all in all, the acting was one of the movie’s only good qualities.

    The movie just moves at an uneven pace and you can tell the director did not know what he was doing. He couldn’t direct the actors because one second they’re doing over the top and next its all subtle.

    Like I said, there was an uneven dosage of over the top and subtle humor. It was hardly funny at all. I laughed more in the first 10 minutes of You don’t mess with the Zohan than I did with this waste of space.

    This violence was so over the top and cheesey. It’s not worth going into.
