Great 4.0
As it opened with Aerosmith and rolling a joint in a Dodge Charger, I knew this movie would be a fun throwback. This is the best “teen in the 70’s†movie I have ever seen, and it flooded me with many memories of all the good times (maybe too good?) that we had back in the day.

Good 3.0
Loved the numerous still undiscovered talent in this movie. Affleck and McConaughey were great as the prickish senior and the slimy older dude, and Adam Goldberg was funny doing a sort of teenage Woody Allen shtick.

Really Great 4.5
Music, cars, clothes, seniors hazing new freshmen, drinking and smoking, making out to Lynard Skynard, shorts and long white socks for PE, and much, much more…. this movie had it all down. I had totally forgotten about bottle-cap flipping until this film. LOL
