Very Good 3.5
A well crafted thriller with unique twists. Watch more than once to understand it.

Very Good 3.5
Chilling performances from Richard Gere and Laura Linney make this an effectively frightening film. You will believe in the Mothman.

Mark Pellington directed the film well. Think Signs meets The Fourth Kind. The visuals were good, and the overall plot genuinely eerie. Every scene set-up is creepy (a phone ringing while not plugged in, and waking up next to someone that wasn’t there before) and will keep you up wondering what might me out there.

A mild film in terms of sex and violence, but terrifying in it’s own way. Not for the easily disturbed.
