  1. Quality
  2. OK 2.5

What do you get when you take Jet Li and Jackie Chan and put them in a kung fu movie together? Usually you would sweet kung fu story action. In this case, this is a watered down American made kung fu flick. This is a movie that should have been made in China with a seasoned kung fu flick master. This movie had the potential to be much better if it was done the right way. I must say I was surprised that it was better then I thought.

  3. Barely OK 2.0

First up to bat we have Michael Angarano. This kid has a future if he keeps it up. He needs to step it up a notch though. He has been in some decent films and he can do the action as we saw in this movie. Hopefully we will see more of him in the years to come.

And now we have the names that have been the drive for this movie for years. I remember checking movie spoiler sites and seeing “unknown Jet Li Jackie Chan project”. From hearing other people talk about this movie saying it was a big let down that disappointed me. When I actually watched it though Jet Li and Jackie Chan did a good job I thought. Jackie was spot on like always with his quick moves and jet was ugly as he always is.

  4. Male Stars Barely OK 2.0
  5. Female Stars Barely OK 2.0
  6. Female Costars Barely OK 2.0
  7. Male Costars Barely OK 2.0
  8. Good 3.0

When it comes to Production Quality things look good. There weren’t any cool special effects or anything special for the camera work and they lost points for that because this was a movie that had potential to look very good. The only thing I can say for them here is congrats on removing the wires from the kung fu.

  9. Direction Good 3.0
  10. Play Good 3.0
  11. Music Good 3.0
  12. Visuals Good 3.0
  13. Content
  14. Risqué 1.7

Aside from the Gun shot in the beginning of the film and the kung fu, I would consider this movie pretty mild. There was not any gratuitous content and not allot on the death side. Things got pretty intense toward the end of the film but that comes natural in these types of movies. If you cant handle the heat. Get out of the dojo!

  15. Sex Innocent 1.1

Ha! This film is as innocent as can be.

  16. Violence Fierce 2.5

    Kung Fu!

  17. Rudeness Polite 1.5

    This is kid safe!

  18. Fantasy 5.0

Oh straight up fantasy. I dont see this happening anytime soon.

  19. Circumstantial Fantasy 5.0
  20. Biological Fantasy 5.0
  21. Physical Fantasy 5.0
