   Really Great 4.5

   I have never seen the broadway production of this film, but I did see the 1980’s version with Ricki Lake and love it, so I was a little skeptical at first of this musical. I thought it would be fun to see John Travolta in drag and I was not disappointed at all, this was a great movie. It was fun, clean, and well just plain fun.

4. Acting

   Perfect 5.0

   The acting was really great, I think each person cast was perfect.

5. Male Stars Perfect 5.0

   I have never been a big John Travolta fan, but it was a blast watching him play Edna Turnblad. Christopher Walkens did a great job as well. Don’t know much about Zack Effron except that he is big with the tweeners, but I thought he did very well as Link.

6. Female Stars Perfect 5.0

   The Newly cast Nikki Beloski(sp) was so bubbly to watch it was great and after seeing the original broadway star that played Tracy on Dancing with the Stars I can say that I think they picked a exellent person to play the role of Tracy because she has just as much energy as the broadway star.
