Movies are as much a passion for me as my first love, live theatre. They are perhaps the highest form of modern storytelling. Although sometimes labeled a Director’s medium, I believe film to be as collaborative effort of any form of Theatre. The subjective and universal appeal of “The Movies” can capture the imagination and passion of more viewers on a scale unsurpassed until the advent of Television and the Internet.

There’s no denying the sheer numbers Television can reach, however I tend to favor movies, specials, and series produced by cable networks today. I’m a fan of classic television, however there’s a quantifiable load of pablum being spewed into the airwaves.
