Very interesting movie about the story of the buddhist monks of Tibet. Excellent music, excellent cinematography, good narration. Highly recommend for those interested in Buddhism or World Affairs. |

Excellent film about the story of the Dalai Lama and his being forced from Tibet. At times humerous, always beautiful, at times heartwrenching, yet it doesn't end leaving you depressed. This movie also serves as a good introduction to Tibetan Buddhism for Westerners and of the Dalai Lama's non-violent movement to Free Tibet. Acting is excellent, although you won't see any actors here that you recognize. Cinematography and Film score are breathtaking. |
