This is a classic! A movie that could also be done as a play. Focused on the interaction between a gang of criminals who only partially trust each-other. The dialog is the centerpiece, but the sporadic incursions of action, some serious smack talk, and shocking violence (“ear scene” anyone?)…

I’m a massive Michael Mann fan and this is my favourite of his films. The acting and characters are fantastic, it looks amazing, the script is amazing. And the bank robbery is quite possibly the best shoot out ever.
