  1. Quality
  2. Really Great 4.5

LeBron James and the ‘fab four’. Just Ohio kids who built their love for the game in a YMCA meeting hall. More dramatic and impactful than Hoop Dreams, ‘More Than a Game’ mixes in the intensity of close games, heavy-beat music, and a deeper view into what the boys are thinking. Then there’s coach Dru Joyce with his soft introspective style. Apparently it did the trick. The fab four of St. Mary’s-St. Vincent were a spectacle that the basketball community won’t soon forget. Even though it was high-school, the legacy was worthy of the NBA itself. It must have been remarkable following high school games and Lebron on ESPN at the time, and this movie brings all of that back to life.
