Good 3.0
Jodie Foster does a meh job with Money Monster, despite having heavyweights like George Clooney and Julia Roberts commanding the big screen. The premise and story were compelling enough to get us in to the theater, and indeed there were moments of suspense. But in the end, going after a corrupt Wall Street bad guy doesn’t provide enough meat to keep us on the edges of our seat. It wasn’t all bad though; Clooney and Roberts are great together, and Jack O’Connell does a remarkable job.
