Great 4.0
Will Smith shows serious star power as Dr. Bennet Omalu, the passionate ex-patriate who exposes the hush-hush dangerous truth about what really happens to many NFL players. Even without the polarizing topic, this movie stands on its own as a forensic thriller – truth from the nobody against stonewalling from the mega corporation. But, as you know, that isn’t the whole story. The mega corporation is the NFL, and the nobody is not only against the man, but the man’s fans. As an NFL fan, the movie was hard to watch at times. Did it change my opinion about the game? Well sort-of. I at least want full and thorough information to be front-and-center to any parents, kids, and players involved in the game.
