Perfect 5.0
This film will be remembered as Zemeckis’ masterpiece. A timeless story and an unforgettable performance by Hanks. I only wish it would have come out a year sooner or later so not to have steamrolled Pulp Fiction at every award show that year.

Perfect 5.0
Hanks gives the performance of his career. Not your typical “play a dullard and win an Oscar by praying on the sympathy of the voters” role. This was played with pitch perfect heart and believability.

Surreal in the sense that the events portrayed didn’t really happen with Forrest Gump in them, but real because they actually did. The story itself is timeless.

Regarding Randy’s Review I’d also forgotten how long the movie is. I love outstanding movies that are really long. More of a great thing is always a great thing. |
