Really Great 4.5
Monkey Kingdom is a joy of a documentary, easily beloved by young and old alike. More fun than a barrel of monkeys … er, sort of a barrel of monkeys come to life, it profiles lovable little Sri Lankan primates.
These little macacas swing from each others’ tails, for goodness sakes. Yet they’re also heartless, cruel and tribal, a reminder that subhumans tend to live lives that are nasty, brutish and short. Don’t let that scare you away however. The movie is mostly sweet, very loving and extremely luxuriant.

The sanctimonious Left blames people for the world’s ills, men most of all. Yet Monkey Kingdom gives documentary evidence that subhumans are the cruelest of all, albeit their reach doesn’t exceed their grasp.
Three upper-caste females subjugate a lower-caste mother and her unprotected son in Monkey Kingdom.
Morality – superior or otherwise – ain’t got nothing to do with it.
