Very Good 3.5
The Wahlberg and MacFarlane duo repeat for this raunchy Ted sequel. More of the same outrageousness and stoned social commentary as its predecessor, but somehow also more muted and dare I say a little too repetitive? Amanda Seyfeld makes a good replacement for Mila Kunis – especially as she more fully embraces the stoner way of life, and Wahlberg manages to continue to pull off a bit of that clueless schtick that surprised us in Ted. Of course, MacFarlane continues to steal the show and the write-ins for Morgan Freeman, Sam Jones, John Slattery, Patrick Warburton, and my personal favorite Liam Neeson were great to see.
