Very Good 3.5
I really enjoyed Jaime Foxx’s version of the great Ray Charles. The movie was as entertaining as a biopic gets. Jaime’s acting great – he seemed to become Ray himself. I simply forgot that I was watching an actor and not the legend. The movie surrounds itself with Ray’s wonderful music and gives you a very revealing sampling of the drama that surrounds such a life of wine (and drugs), women, and song. The Blues version of a rock and roll lifestyle; and all of it from a man who had to overcome a poor and blind upbringing. An amazing story.
