Great 4.0
Part history, but mostly a really good dramatic love-triange – Immigrant reminds you that this world is full of interesting characters, and the harder it is to survive and make your way – the more interesting the characters seem to get. It was cool to see some of what happened at Ellis Island and to get a glimpse of the harshness of survival in NYC, but the best thing about The Immigrant was great acting from Marion Cotillard, Joaquin Phoenix, and Jeremy Renner. The three together seemed to be tailor-made for this story, which was great entertainment.
