  1. Quality
  2. OK 2.5

I can’t say much more than simply see this documentary if you are either a Doors fan or a fan of 60’s and 70’s music lore. The iconic Jim Morrison had a mind that few could fully understand; The poetry in his music and the unpredictability of his life is something that many will talk about and study for years to come. The film itself is well done, with lots of interviews of the band members and other affiliates. Jim makes the documentary mesmerizing, but I’m not sure the interviews were especially enlightening. Enjoy this for what it is – some great footage and a trip down memory lane.

  3. Perfect 5.0

Jim Morrison can’t be replicated. As someone said in the movie, it’s like putting a lifetime of experience and expression in to a span of 27 years. An explosion of entertainment, followed by a flame-out.
