  1. Quality
  2. Very Good 3.5

Another installment in the “relish the low brow” comedy category, ‘The Watch’ leverages comically sympatico actors Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller, and Jonah Hill to bring it home. Not exactly a home run, but more like a series of base-hits produce a steady stream of LOL suited for those of you who are not ashamed to guffaw at raunchy jokes, well placed bad language, and gratuitous violence and sexual references. Throw in some alien action, equally non-PC treatment of dweeby WASP, foreign, female, and skanky targets, and most of us need not keep secret the fact that we liked this one.

  3. Very Good 3.5

I really don’t need to say much about Vince, Ben, and Jonah – they produce just like you’d expect them to, except Ben Stiller seems less inspired than movies past, and Jonah seems somehow more mature than before. Some of my other picks: Wil Forte as the ultra-sarcastic Sgt. Breesman, the opener by Joe Nunez as the alcohol swilling Costco guard, and of course the foul-language spewing from the famous R. Lee Ermey.

Regarding BrianSez’s Review
Forgot about “the opener by Joe Nunez as the alcohol swilling Costco guard” Bri. Good pickup. That was funny as hell. Amazing that Costco played along. Good sports.
