  1. Quality
  2. Good 3.0

A unique twist on a father-son story. Christopher Walken plays the ultimate con Nat, who brings his son Ritchie (Allesandro Nivola) along for a ride down memory lane as a last hurrah before an impending illness takes him away. Ritchie really just wants to get away from his ex-con past, but realizes this is a better way for him to figure out what’s next for his own life. This is a heartwarming tale with a quirky charm and plenty of lol moents that ended up being better than I expected.

  3. Very Good 3.5

Allesandro Nivola was very good as con who loses his job and girlfriend and forces himself to reconnect with dad.

Sharon Stone was really great as the ex-babysitter Delores Jones

Amanda Peet was only an extra as the girlfriend.

Christopher Walken – magnificent as the original con himself. Con-dad – he nearly made it a one-man-show, if it weren’t for the very good performances from Allesandro Nivola and Sharon Stone.

  4. Male Stars Very Good 3.5
  5. Female Stars Very Good 3.5
  6. Female Costars Very Good 3.5
  7. Male Costars Very Good 3.5

A bit meandering in the beginning, but great once they hit the road.

  9. Direction Good 3.0
  10. Play Good 3.0
  11. Music Good 3.0
  12. Visuals Good 3.0
  13. Content
  14. Tame 1.5
  15. Sex Innocent 1.5
  16. Violence Gentle 1.5
  17. Rudeness Polite 1.5
  18. Glib 1.4

People probably do this stuff, but the cons were inventive.

  19. Circumstantial Glib 1.4
  20. Biological Glib 1.4
  21. Physical Glib 1.4
