  1. Quality
  2. Good 3.0

A whirlwind of a film that focuses on sick people, random acts of touching things and leaving germs. If you have a thing about germs, don’t watch this movie – because it jolts you quickly in to the world of massive sickness and death. Just focusing on this, the movie starts to lose your interest, even after trying to infuse more drama and suspense around finding the cure. In the end, the movie is entertaining, but doesn’t live up to the potential of its all-star cast.

  3. Good 3.0

Laurence Fishburn and Kate Winslet turn in to the most lasting of the stars, and Jude Law is sort of an annoying sideline character. Matt Damon is with us all throughout, but his role is somewhat muted. Gwyneth Paltro is only there in the beginning and in flashbacks, because * spoiler alert * she gets knocked out quickly. I wouldn’t even call it an acting spot – but more of a cameo spot. I wonder what the autopsy scene did for her career. Elliot Gould is good as always, and the relative newcomer Jennifer Ehle does a good job as the pretty Dr Axle.
