Very Good 3.5
Robin Williams plays a nerdy researcher who gets a staff job at a special needs hospital, where he is presented with practically comatose victims of an epidemic that occurred decades ago. Only now, a cure exists and Dr Sayer won’t let sleeping dogs lie. The story that ensues is both heart-warming, and heart-wrenching as this eclectic cast of characters discover what it is like to live again after so many years. The movie drags on a lttle long, but you’ll be rewarded by top-notch acting and a tug-at-the-heart-strings story.

Great 4.0
Just an outstanding cast. Anyone who appreciates quality acting, or is studying to be an actor needs to see this movie. Its like a whos-who of contemporary actors who made it in either TV or movies: Robin Williams as the nerdy-bespectacled Dr.., Julie Kavner as the enthusiastic accomplice-Nurse; Robert DeNiro outstanding as patient Leonard Lowe; Max Von Sydow as the older original investigator — and other well knowns: Anne Meara, Alice Drummond, John Heard, and Max Von Sydow, even Bradley Whitford do their part.

The story is unique and the cast outstanding. Good mix – but a little slow 2/3 of the way in.
