  1. Quality
  2. Great 4.0

Great tense fun! My expectations were lowered by some unfavorable reviews, but I came away impressed. It is true that it had less of the features that make MI a trademark, andeven though the end result was a little more generic, it was nevertheless a producer of heart-stopping moments, and stress producing tenseness as the crew pulled off the seemingly impossible. Just the thing you go to MI to see, and it delivers.

  3. Good 3.0

Cruise is aging a bit, but still not necessary to be replaced. Loved Simon Peggs unique brand of quirky humor. Paula Patton was more than just eye candy, and Jeremy Renner is good enough to inherit the lead role.

  4. Male Stars Good 3.0
  5. Female Stars Good 3.0
  6. Female Costars Good 3.0
  7. Male Costars Good 3.0
  8. Great 4.0

Great use of the IMAX format, shock-action sequences, and extremely tense moments, as well as acting talent that works on the big screen.

  9. Direction Great 4.0
  10. Play Great 4.0
  11. Music Great 4.0
  12. Visuals Great 4.0
  13. Content

  17. Rudeness Salty 2.0
  18. Surreal 2.5

Regarding Wick’s Review
It was IMAX only opening weekend, a trap I fell into. Now you’ll be able to see it everywhere and pay less for the privilege.

As to Tom Cruise = Nic Cage. Interesting. Certainly been a while since the former Tom Terrific had a big hit. Unlike Cage, he doesn’t seem compelled to make a dozen movies a year however.

Regarding Wick’s Review
Ouch. Thanks for saving me from a drive over the hill to the nearest iMax. Kids are still likely to pull me in to the local theater for it this weekend.
