  2. Barely OK 2.0

Can a sex-buddy relationship really work? Maybe if you are Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman in real life, but as they show us in ‘No Strings Attached’, it is certainly more challenging for mere mortals. It seemed a bit unnatural that Ashton would be the one that has the most trouble keeping emotions out of it — after all, we all associate him with man-whore roles. Nevertheless, he kind-of pulls it off in this romantic comedy. As for this movie? Not horrible and probably Ok if you are stuck on a plane or as a lazy-Sunday streaming download.

  3. OK 2.5

Natalie Portman is not completely convincing as a woman who can’t handle ‘real relationships’, but she’s always a delight to see. As mentioned above, Ashton pulls off the sensitive-guy routine – so kudos to him. Loved Kevin Kline as the cradle-robbing, pot-smoking, narcissistic dad who is sleeping with Ashton’s ex-girlfriend.

Regarding BrianSez’s Review
Yeah – I didn’t see FWB, but it sounds like exactly the same story-line

Regarding BrianSez’s Review
Hmm… sounds like a similar concept to “Friends with Benefits” with Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake, also released this year… weird
