  1. Quality
  2. Really Great 4.5

It is unbelievable that so much quality color footage of WWII was found by the producers of ‘WWII in HD’. The outcome is fantastically revealing footage of life in and out of the combat zone. And be warned: just because it is old footage doesn’t mean it is mild. Instead, you are sometimes exposed to dramatically graphic footage of war’s worst effects: death, destruction, and carnage. From mass slaughter of US and Japanese marines in the Pacific to mass slaughter of innocents in German death-camps, you get the picture: War is a horrible, horrible thing. As with its sequel ‘Vietnam in HD’, this movie does a great job at covering all the major campaigns from how we got in, to how we got out – giving you a truly solid appreciation of the history and sheer magnitude of it all.
