Perfect 5.0
I found Black Swan to be thrilling, chilling, demented, tormented, awesome, gruesome, beautiful, and altogether amazing. Natalie Portman shines as Nina Sayers, a ballet dancer who wins the lead role in a production of “Swan Lake.” Parents be warned: this isn’t a dance movie for the kiddos!

Perfect 5.0
*Natalie Portman (Nina Sayers) is absolutely, stunningly brilliant. This role totally redeemed her for her participation in the Star Wars trilogy prequels.
*Mila Kunis (lily) isn’t a standout, but she plays her part convincingly and well.
*Vincent Cassel (Thomas Leroy) is a brilliantly pompous (and unknowingly destructive) choreographer.
*Barbarra Hershey (Erica Sayers) is a twisted mother-of-a-ballet-dancer.
*Winona Ryder (Beth Macintyre) plays an appropriately “aged-out-of-the-system” ballet dancer. -

Amazing visuals, terrifying soundtrack, and an entirely followable (yes, I made that word up) plot drive this film home.
