Really Great 4.5
What a fantastic find this film was. Truman is the only person that doesn’t know that he’s in a reality show about… him. More drama than comedy, but just watching Jim play the naïve role creates plenty of LOL moments as you notice screw-ups and flaws in the grand scheme. Unbelievable events that were engineered to shield him and keep him bring in the drama, but the seriousness is kept in balance with the wackiness of the situations as Truman discovers more and more, finally ending in a great climax you won’t soon forget. This is great film-making folks.

Great 4.0
Jim Carey is absolutely great as the naïve Truman who goes through a process of discovery. Laura Linney, Ed Harris, and Noah Emmerich are all great in their supporting roles. Not to mention an understated role for Paul Giamatti.
