  1. Quality
  2. Good 3.0

An intriguing movie about Irish Republicans fight against the British in the 1920’s. The movie centers around two brothers Teddy and Damien. Teddy is a freedom fighter through and through and Damien puts aside his desire to pursue a degree in London to fight alongside him. This movie follows the togetherness bound by Irish republican spirit as well as the eventual split between them over the treaty with the kingdom. Brutal scenes of violence and despair… its no wonder some Irish are so passionate about their independence. This movie really brings to light what happened to shape Ireland as it is today and it is conveyed via a rock solid historical drama that won’t disappoint.

  3. Very Good 3.5

Cillian Murphy and Padraic Delaney to a great job as the moody O’Sullivan brothers. Plenty of range and believability.
