Perfect 5.0
This film is AWESOME. It starts as a mini documentary about the musical artists who performed the songs in the Coen Brothers’ film O Brother, Where Art Thou?, but then spends most of its time showing the live concert in Nashville, TN. The lineup of musicians is staggering, as they’re some of the biggest names in bluegrass music. (You can watch the entire movie on YouTube!)

Perfect 5.0
All characters were playing themselves, so I’m saying they were all perfect at doing so. The lineup included greats like: The Cox family, John Hartford, Emmylou Harris, Chris Thomas King, Alison Krauss, Colin Linden, Ralph Stanley, Gillian Welch, David Rawlings, The White Family, Mike Compton, Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan, T-Bone Burnett, Holly Hunter, and even Billy Bob Thornton as an Audience Member.
