  1. Quality
  2. Good 3.0

Lots of LOL amidst a “you pretty much know what is going to happen” movie. I mean, it is Adam Sandler and Jennifer Anniston, right? This movie was carried by plenty of funny moments stemming from the fact that Adam plays a plastic surgeon, as well as some wacky characters and a plot designed for LOL generation. Look, as long as you don’t expect Oscar quality and you will have a fun time.

  3. Very Good 3.5

Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston can do this type of movie with blindfolds on. Some genuine chemistry between them helped. The kids (Bailee Madison and Griffin Gluck) were surprisingly good. Loved Nick Swardson as the left-field comedian friend. Brooklyn Decker adds some serious eye candy, but not much in the way of acting. Nicole Kidman was really good in her short part, and a surprise role by Dave Matthews was a novelty – but Dave, stick to music!

  4. Male Stars Very Good 3.5
  5. Female Stars Very Good 3.5
  6. Female Costars Very Good 3.5
  7. Male Costars Very Good 3.5
  8. Good 3.0

A formula movie with more laughs than the usual fare. Good mix of fun and schlockiness. Solid acting talent.

  9. Direction Good 3.0
  10. Play Good 3.0
  11. Music Good 3.0
  12. Visuals Good 3.0
  13. Content
  14. Tame 1.5
  15. Sex Innocent 1.5
  16. Violence Gentle 1.5
  17. Rudeness Polite 1.5
  18. Glib 2.0
  19. Circumstantial Glib 2.0
  20. Biological Glib 2.0
  21. Physical Glib 2.0

Wick

Regarding Wick’s Review
Yeah, if Sandler made me laugh, I’d be forgiving too.
