Very Good 3.5
Yosemite lovers will find this brief NatGeo documentary a spectacular bit of uplifting TV, especially when streamed onto an HD big screen. A touch preachy perhaps, yet its vistas trump all.
Amongst the highlights: shots up Little Yosemite Valley as monumental lightning bolts strike Nevada Falls; a climber’s eye view of the El Capitan face; getting hoisted to the crown of a Mariposa Grove sequoia.
Yo! Sem! It! Tee!

Fire, water, air and earth are primally excellent themes from which to understand the landscape that we know as Yosemite.
