  1. Quality
  2. Really Great 4.5

LOL all the way. Even belly laughs – the true hallmark of a funny movie. Russell Brand has always made a great out-of-control persona – and GHTHG capitalizes on that. Rock Stars just arent’ that interesting unless they are doing crazy sh*t, so it was very fun watching “Aldus” be a wild man. The LOL moments more than made up for the lackluster script… How about songs called “Inside of you” and “We got the Clap”? Heh Heh – appeals to my juvenile sensibilities when it comes to comedies on the big screen, and if you are anything like I am – you’ll have great fun watching this.

  3. Perfect 5.0

Russel Brand is absolutely great in his role as Aldus Snow. Such a perfect fit for a tongue-in-cheek depiction of a rock star. Jonah Hill is the perfect straight man and shows us more consistency in these comedies. P Diddy was surprisingly LOL funny as the overly-a**hole-ish record executive. But besides Aldus, my surprise pick of the cast was Colm Mealy as Aldous’ dad – loved him!

  4. Male Stars Perfect 5.0
  5. Female Stars Perfect 5.0
  6. Female Costars Perfect 5.0
  7. Male Costars Perfect 5.0
  8. Really Great 4.5

Would have been perfect if the story was more interesting. Thank goodness the cast more than made up for any deficiencies!

  9. Direction Really Great 4.5
  10. Play Really Great 4.5
  11. Music Really Great 4.5
  12. Visuals Really Great 4.5
  13. Content
  14. Risqué 2.3
  15. Sex Titillating 2.3
  16. Violence Fierce 2.3
  17. Rudeness Salty 2.3
  18. Glib 1.9
  19. Circumstantial Glib 1.9
  20. Biological Glib 1.9
  21. Physical Glib 1.9

Great review, Wick. I was surprised to see the movie get a Perfect 5. I guess I have to see it now, haha.
