Good 3.0
An underwhelming story overwhelmingly performed makes for a good, albeit sleepy movie. Robert Duvall does deliriously well – of course – in a movie he produced and leads.
Get Low’s gently risqué and glib content alloys into ribald American realism. Hell, it could be classified as Americana maximus, hillbilly genus. A pure country tale, it may induce depressive catatonia. Enter well caffeinated.
Some will find Get Low great, perfect even. To me, it’s damn good if not too damn exciting.
