Very Good 3.5
There are some cases when sticking to a formula works well, and P2 is one of those cases. We go with the camera theme once again, but this time with a twist of showing different perspectives from within the spooked out house. P2 does get more sophisticated than its predecessor though and infuses a bit more back-story sleuthing and context to what is happening. I swear though – no matter how much you already know that something scary is about to happen – it still scares you anyway. I loved the ending and its twists that finally reveal the sinister nature of things. Perhaps this movie won’t be the scariest film you’ll ever see – but it delivers a solidly spooky experience.

Good 3.0
I thought the whole crew did well – nobody stood out, just an all around solid cast.

Very Good 3.5
“If it aint broke – don’t fix it†as the old saying goes. In this case, they didn’t fix anything, but instead enhanced the experience with new camera perspectives and much more of a back-story.
