OK 2.5
Hillary Swank and Richard Gere star in this biopic of Amelia Earhart. Shot in a flashback style – switching between the infamous last flight and the history of her achievement and adventure, this film is interesting more for Amelia’s story than for any great filmmaking. Sure, Hilary and Richard bring the star-power – but they couldn’t elevate the story in to something that should have been more captivating. That said, if you are a history or aviation buff – you ‘ll really enjoy the filming of some great old birds during a magical time in aviation’s history.
