  1. Quality
  2. Good 3.0

Both funny and sobering at the same time TLO brings 3 soldiers together for an erratic journey back home. Like many movies of this type, the focus is on the characters and dealing with the stresses life brings. TLO brings its own unique twist by adding many humorous moments. Not the LOL type of humor, but the warm-smile type of humor. A nice change of pace.

  3. OK 2.5

Tim Robbins (Cheaver) does a reasonable job as the older Sargeant facing a distressed family life. My favorites however were Rachel McAdams (Colee)and Michael Pena (TK) – both of whom are youthful and unpolished, but come across genuine and with a great range.

  4. Male Stars OK 2.5
  5. Female Stars OK 2.5
  6. Female Costars OK 2.5
  7. Male Costars OK 2.5
  8. Good 3.0

Just a good story, good acting, and writing that glues it all together well.

  9. Direction Good 3.0
  10. Play Good 3.0
  11. Music Good 3.0
  12. Visuals Good 3.0
