OK 2.5
Yeeaahhh, I’ve been on kind of a “dissapointing movie streak”. Had big expectations for Alice in Wonderland, let me down. Somewhat big expectations for Clash of the Titans, it let me down. Big expectations for Kick-Ass, it met some of them, but I STILL couldn’t help but feel let down. The only movies that have met/exceeded my expectations are Shutter Island and Hot Tub Time Machine. Man, is 2010 lookin’ like a bad year for movies. Well, as you could likely predict, I had some big expectations for The Losers, and while it definitly had its moments, it was a pretty big let down.
The Losers plays out a teeny tiny bit like The A-Team. It tells the story of a group of military operatives who are betrayed and framed for the murder of a group of children. They reside in Bolivia and soon find a way to get revenge on Max(the man who set them up) and earn their lives back. With the help of Aisha, they try to defeat Max and at the same time, save the world.
The Losers is a prime example of a movie that had its best parts in the trailer. If you’re looking for a good “action movie night”, this movie is best renting. But as a fun time at the theaters, its not worth it.

The pacing is very off. It goes from action packed to just plain boring. The dialogue is nothing all that special. The music consists of some good rock music and techno that fits the scene its in. The action is the best part.

This was pretty violent and there are quite a few sexual innuendos and bad language. Naughty, naughty.
