OK 2.5
Can a teen find morality and purpose through rugby? Well, I guess so according to Forever Strong. This movie retreads the old “sports saves the wayward boy†shtick. It has some interesting points, but in general you could do better – unless of course you are a rugby fan, then watch for some entertaining matches between the good guys and the bad guys.

Not bad acting, just not that much to write home about either. Well, maybe except for Gary Cole deserves a nod as the wise Coach.

Who knew rugby was popular in the central United States, and had teams who used Samoan war-chants to pump themselves up? Umm, I’m still not able to get over that completely.
