Perfect 5.0
This is one of the greatest and most faithful comic book adaptations I’ve ver seen. The day the idea for this film was proposed, Frank Miller handed the producers a copy of the graphic novel and said “This is the screenplay, work with it.” And they did. Sin City is a word for word, frame by frame adaptation of the classic graphic novel written by Frank Miller.
The story centers around three people: Good cop Hartigan, tough guy Marv, and ladies man Dwight. We see their stories and soon their lives intersect through each scene we see them in.
Filled with excellent visuals, a great cast, and a dark tone, Sin City is a balls to the wall comic book film that’ll leave you satisified. -
Perfect 5.0
This is an A+ cast we’re looking at here. From Mickey Rourke to Bruce Willis to Jessica Alba, these are all great actors who do a wonderful job with the material they’re given.

-
Direction Perfect 5.0
We’re working with 3 directors here, people. Robert Rodriguez, Frank Miller, and Quentin Tarantino. These guys know what they’re doing.
-
Play Perfect 5.0
The dialogue is strait out of the book. It fits the characters and the scene.
-
Music Perfect 5.0
The music is an excellent throwback to the theme music to the crime films of the 70’s.
-
Visuals Perfect 5.0
The whole film is practically CGI and it looks incredible. The black and white is chilling and hipnotizing. The CGI red blood will immediately bring you good memories of reading the comic.
