  1. Quality
  2. Good 3.0

So what would the ultimate gift be? Why, lessons in life of course. “Oh no” many might say — but this little gem of a film tells an entertaining story which just happens to make you think a little. And the best part is that the sap meter never registers too high.

  3. Very Good 3.5

Loved the numerous roles from many notables, including James Garner (the deceased), Lee Meriweather, and Bill Cobbs as the lawyer who gleefully administers justice. Of course, the major kudos go to Drew Fullerton (a relatively unknown who has some success on TV). He’s a natural as the irreverent son who learns things the hard way. The other star is Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine) – a little munchkin who wins your heart as easily as falling off a log.

  4. Male Stars Very Good 3.5
  5. Female Stars Very Good 3.5
  6. Female Costars Very Good 3.5
  7. Male Costars Very Good 3.5
  8. Good 3.0

Michael Sajbel uses pure acting talent to save what might have been an over-the-top drama in to something enjoyable without a gag reflex.

  9. Direction Good 3.0
  10. Play Good 3.0
  11. Music Good 3.0
  12. Visuals Good 3.0
  13. Content
  14. Tame 1.1

  17. Rudeness Polite 1.1
  18. Glib 2.0
  19. Circumstantial Glib 2.0
  20. Biological Glib 2.0
  21. Physical Glib 2.0
