Pretty Awful 0.5
The moment I saw that there was going to be a remake of Halloween, I thought it could be interesting. Then I found out Rob Zombie was directing and I almost cried myself to sleep. I’m a huge fan of Mr. Zombie’s music and not of his movies, I find them boring. And when I finally saw what he came up with, boy was I steamed.
It came with one of the dumbest stories I’ve ever seen. It completely killed the mystique of Michael Myers. Before, he was a guy who just killed people for the sake of seeing them die. Now, he’s a cry baby b**ch who’s just getting back at everyone who made him mad. On top of a lame story, after you hear Michael’s background, you completely lose interest once he escapes. You just don’t want to see the same thing you’ve seen before. The acting is terrible, the screenplay is lame, and everything in between just reeks of stupidness. If your going to watch Halloween, rent the original.

Bad 1.0
The casting for this movie, is just terrible. The only people I actually liked were Brad Douriff as the Sherif and Malcolm McDowell as Loomis. Everyone else, I was hoping they would either get killed or just fall off the screen.
